Before using QSP, staff could have a non-worked shift on their schedule and forget to remove it, we would then pay the staff and bill RC in error. This can be corrected now when we receive a no clock report. Other times if there was dishonesty, staff could add time to the appointment being paid more than they were providing which shorts the clients their support time and creates a very messy situation. The GPS clock-in and No Clock alerts have significantly improved both accuracy and accountability, helping us catch potential issues in real-time. Before these key features, we relied on the staff for correct time documentation and input but did not have a way to confirm exact accuracy which left too much room for error. Now, payroll is faster and more precise. We can protect staff and our agency from a he said she said situation, because we have more supporting evidence to be able to confirm details etc.

QSP’s clock-in and no clock out alerts have significantly improved how we hold our staff accountable. It has helped us determine if a staff member has falsified a clock-in/out or whether a staff member has not clocked out. Thankfully, we have trusted staff, so falsification rarely happens. The no clock-out alerts are useful primarily because we can determine if the staff member is either still on shift or the relief staff has yet to arrive. It also ensures that our staff complete the DSNs, because clocking out requires you to complete a DSN before one can successfully complete their clock out.
