Will staff receive reminders when a client’s medications are due to be administered?
Yes, and you can customize the frequency of when reminders are sent. Med reminders are delivered as a push notification via the QSP mobile app, and staff will receive them if a med is due during their scheduled shift.
QSP has Missed Med alerts that can be sent to select administrators if a medication isn’t acknowledged within a certain time frame. These alerts are meant to prevent an actual medication omission and give admin time to reach directly out to the scheduled staff to follow up on the med alert.
Each client’s medications can be managed from the web or mobile app, with access limited to authorized personnel. When a prescription changes, and it’s updated in QSP, those changes are instantly visible to staff, so they can continue to ensure the 6 rights of medication.
QSP has an Medication Administration Report that can be generated to excel that provides a detailed history of a client’s med passes: the date, the med name, the dose, and the staff who acknowledged the administration.
